     DAY 01  - AIRPORT – PINNAWELLA – KANDY 

    Arrival transfer to KANDY  -  

     En route  visit   The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage was established in 1975 providing care and sanctuary to orphaned baby elephants that were found in the wild.. The elephant bathing and viewing ar ea along the Oya River is directly opposite on the west side of the highway. It was planned facility to attract local and foreign visitors, the income from which would help to maintain the orphanage.. In 1982 an elephant breeding program was launched. As of 2012, there were 78 elephants living here.. the Ayurveda and Herbal Gardens.

    Evening – witness a Cultural Performance ending with the Fire walking visit to the Temple of the Tooth of Buddha

    DAY 02  -       KANDY  - NUWARA ELIYA 

    After breakfast -    visit the City of Kandy , the traditional craft centers -  leave for   Nuwara Eliya 

    En route visit the Ramboda Falls  - Tea Factory and Gardens 

    NUWARA ELIYA –Nuwara Eliya's climate lent itself to becoming the prime sanctuary of the British civil servants and planters in Ceylon. Nuwara Eliya, called Little England, was a hill country retreat where the British colonialists could immerse in their pastimes such as fox hunting, deer hunting, elephant hunting, polo, golf and cricket. Although the town was founded in the 19th century by the British, the district is today visited by native travelers, especially during April, Many of the buildings retain features from the colonial period such as the Queen's Cottage, General's House, Grand Hotel, Hill Club, and Town Post Office

    Visit the city of Nuwara Eliya 

     

     Overnight  stay at the OAK RAY  TEA BUSH   - RAMBODA 

    DAY 03  -   NUWARA ELIYA – KALUTARA   - SEA RESORT 

    After breakfast -    Leave for  Bentota – en  route  visit the St Clairs and Devon Falls

    Some rafting at Kitulaga  - Proceed to Kalutara 

    Overnight  stay at THE PALMS     

    DAY 04  -   KALUTARA   - GALLE – MADU RIVER  - KALUTARA 

     After breakfast -   proceed to Galle , en route visit the Turtle Hatcheries  - boat ride on The Madu Ganga is a shallow water body in south-west Sri Lanka, which enters the sea at Balapitiya.. The Buddhist Kothduwa temple is situated on an isolated island in the lake. In has high ecological, biological and aesthetic significance, being home to 303 species of plants belonging to 95 families and to 248 species of vertebrate animals. It might be one of the last remaining tracts of pristine mangrove forests in Sri Lanka. The inhabitants of its islets produce peeled cinnamon and cinnamon oil.The Maduganga Wetland was declared in 2003, in terms of the Ramsar Convention.The Dutch Fort of Galle – a world heritage site

     DAY 05  -   KALUTARA   - AIRPORT

    After breakfast  - leave for airport  ( if flight is early morning – ( breakfast packs will be provided )
